New Product or Service Launch Checklist

strategyNEWITY
Create a launch checklist for a new product or service:

- **Business type:** [your industry or business category]
- **What I'm launching:** [name and brief description of the new product or service]
- **Type of offering:** [physical product / digital product or download / online service or SaaS / in-person service / subscription or membership / event / brick-and-mortar location] — different types need very different checklists
- **Target launch date:** [date or timeframe]
- **Target customer:** [who will buy this]
- **Channels I plan to use:** [email / social media / in-store / website / referrals / paid ads / other]
- **My team size:** [solo / 2–5 people / larger team]

**Organize the checklist into three phases:**

**Before Launch (2–4 weeks out)**
- [ ] [task]

**Launch Week**
- [ ] [task]

**After Launch (first 30 days)**
- [ ] [task]

Tailor the checklist to the type of offering above — for example, a physical product launch needs inventory and shipping items, a SaaS launch needs onboarding and support items, an in-person service launch needs scheduling and capacity items, a brick-and-mortar launch needs permits and signage items.

For each task, include who is typically responsible for it (owner, marketing, operations, etc.) and flag any that have common pitfalls or lead times to watch. Keep each item actionable — one sentence.
