SWOT Analysis for Business Planning
strategyNEWITY
Conduct a SWOT analysis to help me think through a business decision or plan:
- **What I'm analyzing:** [new product or service / market expansion / business plan / new hire / pricing change / other]
- **Brief description of my business:** [industry, size, how long you've been operating]
- **Context or background:** [paste any notes, background, or the idea you're evaluating]
- **What I'm trying to decide or accomplish:** [describe your goal]
**Output:**
**Strengths** — what's working in your favor
**Weaknesses** — internal gaps to be honest about
**Opportunities** — external conditions you can take advantage of
**Threats** — external risks to plan for
Provide 3–5 bullets in each quadrant. After the grid, write a brief "Key Takeaway" (2–3 sentences): what this analysis points to as the smartest next move.
Be direct. The most useful SWOT is an honest one — don't just list positives.
